Description
"MadMac" is a custom-built drift car that combines elements from the McLaren P1 GTR and the McLaren 650S GT3. The McLaren P1 GTR is a track-focused version of the P1 hypercar, which was produced between 2013 and 2015.
In creating the MadMac, Whiddett collaborated with Lanzante, a British engineering firm renowned for their work on McLaren models. The car features a 20B rotary engine, a departure from the original twin-turbocharged V8 found in the P1.
This unique combination results in a 1,000-horsepower drift car that debuted at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in 2024.
